The temperature in the lab is back to its usual 23C. Still cooler than I would prefer, but I can't complain.
I have a pair of finished socks!
Pattern: Pomatomus
Yarn: Dream in Color Smooshy in Gothic Rose
Needles: KP 2.75mm
Mods: None, though one is a bit longer in the cuff than the other. Not sure what's going on there, but I don't care.
Love the yarn and the pattern. They fit me well, so I am not sure where my earlier doubts came from.
I think I left my cell phone charger in MN. I may have to buy a cheap one to get me through the next two weeks.

They look great...and I really like the color. I almost started on my purple ones, but I decided to throw caution to the wind and attempt Bellatrix. So far, so good and it looks like with some alterations to the pattern I found, they shouldn't be too loose.
beautiful! and glad the lab is a little more bearable.
too bad about the phone charger, I don't even like when I accidentally leave it at work over the weekend.
I love these socks. I am almost finished with the butterfly I'm crocheting for my granddaughter and I bought a set of sock needles and a book that is supposed to teach me to do socks.
I hope to get to start on them by Monday at the latest.
Do you have a yarn store nearby or do you order yours? If you order, what is your source?
I may have more questions.
Meemaw, are you asking where I get the needles, patterns or yarn I use? Most of the patterns I use are free; I get my needles from Knit Picks and yarn from all over the place.
